The global wealth ranking continues to provide weekly dramas and changes at the top of the billionaire list; while some tech giants experience slight setbacks, others record huge jumps and break new records. Below is the updated status of the richest people in the world for the past week:

  1. Elon Musk continues to establish his position with a significant gap from everyone else. Musk's estimated wealth recorded a weekly jump of $143 billion and reached a huge sum of $869.9 billion (compared to $726.9 billion last week).

  2. In second place is Google founder Larry Page, who experienced a decrease of $9.4 billion and reached $283.3 billion (compared to $292.7 billion the previous week).

  3. In third place is Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who maintained his position. Bezos's wealth decreased by $6.3 billion and reached $272.4 billion (compared to $278.7 billion last week).

  4. Sergey Brin is also trying to maintain his position. Brin's wealth decreased by $8.6 billion and reached $261.4 billion (compared to $270 billion last week).

  5. Closing the top 5 is Michael Dell, who maintained fifth place in the ranking with wealth estimated at $260.7 billion, after recording an increase of $16.2 billion compared to $244.5 billion last week.
