Ahead of the upcoming October 2026 Knesset elections and marking three years since the October 7 massacre, a special Channel 14 poll examines how security and political developments shape voter sentiment. The survey highlights public attitudes toward prospective coalition scenarios and government performance.

When asked whether opposition parties are exploiting the third anniversary of October 7 for election propaganda, 55% of respondents answered affirmatively, 40% disagreed, and 5 indicated no opinion. Regarding coalition preferences, 52% stated they would prefer a government led by Benjamin Netanyahu if Gadi Eisenkot required Arab party support to form a coalition, compared to 43% who favored a minority government led by Eisenkot backed by Arab parties.

Voter Priorities and Security Concerns

Government Performance and Public Trust

On the question of responsibility for the October 7 failure and subsequent war management, 48% stated that responsibility for the security lapse would influence their vote, while 47% pointed to war management since October 7. Furthermore, regarding the security breach involving a Flydubai flight, 41% blamed Minister of Transport Miri Regev, 29% pointed to the Shin Bet and Mossad, and 8% blamed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"63% of respondents stated that the handling of flight security arriving in Israel by Minister of Transport Miri Regev is poor, while 23% assessed it as good."
