Wife Catches Husband With Mother's Caregiver in Shocking Betrayal
A 15-year marriage of an Israeli couple dissolved after the wife caught her husband having an affair with his sick mother's live-in caregiver.
After 15 years of marriage and three children, a successful couple of independent professionals faced an unexpected crisis when they hired a caregiver for the husband's ailing mother. The wife, a physician, and her husband, an accountant, decided to bring in round-the-clock assistance. According to the wife, the husband specifically insisted on hiring an Israeli caregiver rather than a foreign worker from India or the Philippines.
The Unexpected Discovery in the Bedroom
Despite the caregiver's presence, the husband continued to insist on staying overnight at his mother's apartment at least once or twice a week. Represented by attorney Sharin Soaln, the wife stated that while this initially raised her suspicions, she chose not to confront him out of respect for his sick mother. One day, the wife decided to bake a cake and surprise her husband and mother-in-law with a visit.
Upon entering the apartment, she made a shocking discovery: her husband was lying in the caregiver's bed. While the husband initially denied any romantic involvement and claimed he was merely resting, attorney Soaln confronted him with the reality of the situation, noting that the wife possessed compromising visual evidence.
The Twist and the Path to Divorce
Faced with this revelation, the husband changed his version of events, admitted to the affair, and claimed it was a one-time lapse in judgment. He even signed a pledge promising never to repeat the behavior and begged to destroy the alleged documentation himself.
However, a surprising twist emerged later during failed dispute resolution proceedings. The husband discovered that his wife had never actually possessed photographic evidence; she had caught him red-handed, and the bluff regarding the pictures was simply a tactical move that prompted his confession. Refusing any attempts at reconciliation, the wife is now demanding a divorce and payment of her ketubah.
