Less than a day after new details were revealed regarding the wedding of the year between Omer Adam (32) and Sasha Israelovich (24), it seems that Omer's mother, Sharon Adam, is more inclined to share public updates as the festivities begin. The celebrations, which kicked off yesterday, are set to continue throughout the coming week.
The mother-in-law-to-be uploaded a joint picture on Monday featuring the bride-to-be, with both women dressed in white and smiling against the backdrop of Portofino, Italy. Adam, who prepared for the wedding in advance—including selecting a dress on the recommendation of Rabbanit Yamima long before arriving in Italy—added an emotional message:
"Our beautiful Sasha, we love you so much, welcome to the Adam family."
The couple has made significant efforts to maintain complete discretion around the glittering event, which has led to some drama regarding the highly exclusive guest list. Despite the secrecy, the Italian celebrations are now in full swing.
The wedding will take place at the historic and magnificent Cervara Abbey (Abbazia della Cervara), adjacent to the port of Portofino and the luxury Splendido hotel, where the guests will be staying. Most attendees are expected to land in Milan tomorrow morning before continuing via organized transport. The Chuppah ceremony, the main event, will be held on Wednesday. On Thursday, most guests will return to Israel, while a small group of close associates will remain for the Shabbat Chatan celebrations.
