Indictment Filed Against Man Who Threw Salt Shaker at Naftali Bennett
An indictment was filed against Eliyahu Azrad from Bnei Brak for throwing a salt shaker at former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett during a filming session at a restaurant.

Police filed an indictment against 26-year-old Eliyahu Azrad from Bnei Brak after he was filmed throwing a salt shaker at former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. Azrad is charged with assault, attempted assault, and conduct likely to breach the public peace.
According to the police, Bennett arrived at a restaurant in Bnei Brak to film a social media video. Bennett was unhurt, but a staff member was struck by the salt shaker and treated at the scene. Azrad was arrested immediately.
During a remand hearing, police stated that Azrad claimed during questioning that everything is from God and insulted Bennett. The incident also involved right-wing activist Mordechai David, who shouted at Bennett, prompting Bennett to reply that he should enlist in the military.
This is not the first encounter with David for opposition figures; last month, Yashar! party leader Gadi Eisenkot encountered him at the beach and refused to answer his questions, stating he only cooperates with those who served in the army.
