The Police Internal Investigations Department filed an indictment on Thursday against a police officer from the Beit Shean station, charging him with indecent acts and sexual harassment of female officers.

According to the indictment, filed by attorney Lidor Malko, in April 2025 the defendant went on a joint patrol shift in a police vehicle with a female officer. While driving, the defendant headed to a secluded grove in the area. After stopping the vehicle, the defendant repeatedly made sexual comments directed at the officer regarding her body and attempted to initiate sexual conversation.

Despite her ignoring him and refusing his advances, the defendant proceeded to massage her back, arms, and legs without her consent. He also touched her genital area over her clothing with his thumb, while the officer attempted to protect herself with her hand.

Subsequently, after exiting the vehicle, the defendant pressed against the officer's back from behind, hugged her, and kissed her neck until she pulled away and returned to the cruiser.

A second charge details that between August and October 2023, during joint shifts in which he served as the shift supervisor, the defendant behaved similarly toward another female officer who had begun her police service only a month earlier.

The defendant drove the patrol vehicle to isolated areas where he repeatedly asked the officer detailed questions about her sexual habits and life, and described explicit sexual matters to her despite her requests to stop and her lack of cooperation.
