Dušan Vlahović was presented on Friday as the new Beşiktaş player, but despite the Turkish club's desire to provide a grandiose ceremony similar to that of Mohamed Salah, who preferred Trabzonspor, the Serbian striker did not generate a similar level of interest. The club claimed that there were still about 20,000 fans in the stadium. The 26-year-old Vlahović, who arrived after eight years in Italy (four at Fiorentina and four at Juventus), signed a three-year contract with the black-and-whites and addressed the crowd in Turkish: "Are you ready? We are starting."
