The Baran Group completed the acquisition of a 75% controlling stake in Bar-El 27 for 35 million NIS. The company's founder, Eli Bar-El, retains the remaining 25% of the shares.

Bar-El specializes in the design and manufacturing of precast concrete elements and engineering solutions for infrastructure, fortification, and security. This acquisition equips the Baran Group with industrial manufacturing capabilities that complement its existing expertise in engineering design, management, and project execution.

Expanding End-to-End Capabilities

Baran aims to consolidate a comprehensive suite of capabilities under one roof, offering clients end-to-end solutions from initial planning and management to execution, construction, and industrial manufacturing. The addition of Bar-El significantly strengthens the group's ability to independently handle large-scale, complex projects.

"The acquisition of Bar-El is another step in our strategy to diversify income sources through products and activities that are not dependent on project cycles," said Itzik Frank, CEO of the Baran Group.

Strategic Growth and Diversification

Founded in 2019, Bar-El custom-designs and manufactures concrete products for infrastructure and defense, including communication chambers, pipelines, concrete foundations, protected spaces, and security barriers. The Baran Group, established in 1979 and traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange since 1992, employs approximately 900 people worldwide.
