Ministry of Health Director-General Moshe Bar Siman Tov announced on Tuesday to Minister of Health Haim Katz his decision to step down in the coming weeks after serving a cumulative total of approximately nine years across two terms. Bar Siman Tov is expected to conduct an orderly handover with his successor, who has not yet been appointed.

Minister of Health Haim Katz thanked him for his public service and remarked, "Moshe led the ministry with professionalism during exceptionally complex and challenging times, driven by a deep commitment to public health."
