Bar Kuperstein, a survivor of Hamas captivity who served as a security coordinator at the Nova music festival, returned to the site in Re'im on Tuesday. Ahead of the third anniversary of the October 7 massacre, he laid tefillin at the scene to honor the victims.

During the October 7 assault, Kuperstein remained at the site to assist the wounded before being abducted to the Gaza Strip. He spent 738 days in Hamas captivity and was released in October 2025.

"I ask myself, what do you do on a day like this? How do I come and do something for all those who were murdered?" Kuperstein said. He called on the public to join the tribute and dedicate laying tefillin to the memory of the victims.
