An unusual violent incident occurred overnight (between Friday and Saturday) in southern Tel Aviv: seven foreign nationals from Thailand were injured in a mass brawl that broke out on Elifelet Street. Following the incident, police forces from the Jaffa station who arrived at the scene arrested two suspects and detained three other participants for questioning. The background to the outbreak of the brawl is still being investigated.

During the night, a report was received at the MADA dispatch center regarding the mass brawl. Medical teams summoned to the scene provided initial treatment to the injured and evacuated them for further treatment at Wolfson and Ichilov hospitals.

The medical condition of those involved varies: among the injured, a man in his 30s was evacuated in serious condition, suffering from stab wounds but remaining conscious. Three other men — a 24-year-old and two men in their 30s — were moderately injured, suffering from bruises and various bodily injuries. Three additional injured people were evacuated from the scene in light condition.

MADA paramedic Naama Shanir and emergency medical technicians Yinon Hanuka and Shimon Dahan, who treated the injured, recounted the moments of arrival at the scene. According to them, while on their way to the incident, they noticed people on the side of the road signaling them to stop and reporting a brawl further down the street.

"When we arrived at the scene, we found a great commotion, and among the crowd, we noticed the seven injured men in full consciousness," the responders stated.

The teams provided them with advanced medical treatment in the field and evacuated them via intensive care ambulances and regular ambulances to the hospitals. In parallel, police forces who arrived at the scene began collecting testimonies and gathering evidence, and the investigation into the circumstances of the brawl continues.
