Austrian football club Austria Vienna launched an artistic campaign to present its third kit. The design is inspired by Gustav Klimt's famous painting 'The Kiss' and celebrates human connection.
Austrian football club Austria Vienna has unveiled its new third kit in a highly original campaign. The club released a two-minute video featuring couples kissing and hugging while wearing the new shirt, as part of a campaign designed to emphasize a "sense of connection."
The video opens with the words "Love has many forms," followed by the message:
"A kiss. A feeling. A moment. It brings people closer, connects generations, and creates memories."
Five pairs of participants, including three romantic couples and two family duos, were filmed seeing the new shirt for the first time. Family members embraced, while the romantic couples were asked to kiss in front of the cameras.
Artistic Inspiration
There is a distinct artistic inspiration behind this unusual campaign. The crimson-colored third shirt was designed in collaboration with Macron, drawing inspiration from the patterns of "The Kiss," the famous masterpiece by Austrian artist Gustav Klimt.
The club explained that Klimt and Austria Vienna share a "deep Viennese sense of aesthetics," which encompasses craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the courage to follow an independent path.
Austria Vienna will initially release a limited edition of 1,000 special packages featuring the new shirt.
