At least until January: Real Madrid has made a decision regarding Endrick

Endrick is expected to remain at Real Madrid for the upcoming season, despite interest from several clubs in Europe, led by Aston Villa. The decision was made jointly by the player, Jose Mourinho, and the club, with it being decided that the young Brazilian's situation will be re-evaluated in January. A similar thing happened this year, when in the winter window Endrick was loaned to Lyon and impressed with eight goals in 21 appearances in all competitions.

Competition for playing time in Real's front line is expected to be high, but the 20-year-old Brazilian intends to stay and fight for his place. It is estimated that he will receive more opportunities on the right side of the attack, because Mourinho does not see Federico Valverde or Bernardo Silva as permanent options for this position. In addition, he will be able to play as a central striker and serve as backup to Kylian Mbappe alongside the new signing Carlos Espi.

Endrick joined Real from Palmeiras in July 2024, after turning 18, in a deal whose initial value stood at 35 million euros, with potential bonuses of another 25 million euros. In total, the Brazilian talent recorded 40 appearances for Real Madrid and scored seven goals.

Endrick was included in the 26-man squad of the Brazilian national team for the last World Cup, selected by former Real coach Carlo Ancelotti. He participated in all the national team's matches in the tournament except one, before Brazil was eliminated by Norway in the round of 16.

Real Madrid will open the Spanish league season against Espanyol on August 22. One of its prominent young talents has already gone on loan, after Franco Mastantuono joined Fiorentina for the upcoming season.
