Does Assaf Rappaport know? The "bribe" received by a Channel 12 journalist
A Channel 12 journalist posted an amusing story on social media, but she did not expect this quick response from Channel 13, which decided to take up the gauntlet and send her a special surprise.

While media organizations in Israel are accustomed to fighting for every percentage of ratings with fat contracts and strict exclusivity clauses, Channel 13 recently discovered a much more effective and cheaper method to poach talent from competitors: a culinary bribe.
The incident unfolded when reports emerged regarding the intention of Assaf Rappaport, the cyber expert from Wiz, to acquire the McDonald's franchise in the country.
Michal Peylan, a Channel 12 journalist, decided to have some fun with the matter on social media and posted a story in which she jokingly hinted that the change in ownership of the fast-food brand was reason enough for her to move to Channel 13.
Instead of ignoring the joke from a reporter at a rival channel, the social media department of Channel 13 decided to take up the gauntlet to the end. The next day, a surprise awaited Peylan: a courier with a full meal of a hamburger, fries, and nuggets.
Alongside the food, a short handwritten note was attached, which took her stated threat with complete seriousness: "If what is needed for you to come is a hamburger and fries, we are waiting for you, Channel 13."
Peylan shared the gesture on her personal feed accompanied by the reaction "cryinggg." Beyond the joke, this move showed that sometimes a little self-deprecating humor and a wink between colleagues make much more noise than any news scoop.
