About a month after the upheaval in the production of the culinary reality show on Reshet 13 and the public accusations that stirred the industry, a surprising meeting took place between veteran judge Asaf Granit and his former colleague Moshik Roth. The two met at the "Choice of the Year" event by "Israel Bidur" and were documented as they put all grievances aside. In the footage, Roth is seen approaching the table where Granit was sitting, leaning in, and hugging him for a long time, while Granit responds with a warm hug and a wide smile.
As recalled, Roth's departure from the program caused much resonance. In an interview with Channel 12 News, Roth and his wife Shiran sharply criticized the way the engagement ended. Shiran even claimed that Granit knew about the replacement move in advance and did not update his friend at the judging table.
Despite the harsh claims raised in the interview, industry sources previously noted that Granit himself actually opposed the replacement of Roth with chef Yonatan Roshfeld and even tried to prevent the move with the channel's management.
