One of the highlights of the evening occurred during her performance of the hit "One Last Time," which became an unofficial anthem for survivors of the 2017 Manchester bombing. Grande, struggling to hold back tears, knelt near the audience and asked her British fans to join her and help finish the song.
The star's decision to focus on her private life was revealed last month, following months of intense speculation surrounding her health and appearance. As part of this planned withdrawal, Grande canceled her participation in the musical "Sunday in the Park with George," scheduled for next summer at the Barbican Theatre. Following her, her "Wicked" co-star, actor Jonathan Bailey, also announced his withdrawal from the production.
Despite the rumors, on stage in London, Grande demonstrated professionalism. The only visible constraint was a foot injury, which caused her to forgo her signature thin high heels in favor of high platform boots.
Towards the end of the evening, the singer addressed the audience with deep gratitude:
