After the record, Anan Khalaili revealed: "I did the scouting myself"

Anan Khalaili received many compliments after his debut in the Crystal Palace starting lineup. Despite the 4:1 home defeat to Manchester City, the Israeli winger recorded an impressive 74 minutes and set a record with no less than 10 tackles during the match - the most in a Premier League debut since N'Golo Kante in August 2015.

In an interview at the end of the match, Khalaili told Niv Davrat, Sport 1's envoy to London:

On his first appearance in the starting lineup:

On the battle against Antoine Semenyo on the wing and the tackle record:

Next Saturday, Crystal Palace will visit Fulham and try to get their first points in the Premier League. Three days later, they will host Middlesbrough from the second division in the League Cup, and on September 12 they will host Crystal Palace in the league. They will begin their journey in the Europa League with an away game in Turkey against Besiktas on September 16.
