After disappointment with Netanyahu: Hadar Muchtar left Israel - "her world has collapsed"
Until a few days ago, she was confident that her name would appear on the Likud party list, but she was ultimately disqualified from the primaries. Consequently, the young politician decided to take a break and left the country.
The young politician Hadar Muchtar, who was a candidate for the Likud party primaries just days ago, experienced significant disappointment after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided not to approve the shortening of the seniority period required to run.
Muchtar, who joined the party only recently, submitted her candidacy and needed special approval from Netanyahu to waive the required time period. Following the decision not to grant this approval, she will not be able to run in the party's primaries scheduled for tomorrow (Monday).
The candidate, who is fighting to enter the next Knesset, decided to take a short break. "It is too much for her," said Muchtar's personal spokesperson. She packed her bags and flew to Georgia.
In an official statement, the spokesperson said:
"Her world has collapsed; she went to Georgia because she could not deal with the fact that the primaries are taking place without her."
Her sudden departure from Israel raised questions regarding the future of her political activity. However, the spokesperson clarified that "the day after the primaries, she will return with full force."
As previously reported, it was recently learned that in parallel with her efforts in Likud, she quietly explored the possibility of joining another list — Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben Gvir. According to reports, these contacts were conducted in complete silence while Muchtar continued to position herself as part of Likud and as someone intending to compete for a spot on the sought-after list.
