Amador to start, Zlatanovic fit: Hapoel Be'er Sheva awaits Red Star

Hapoel Be'er Sheva began preparations on Friday for one of the biggest weeks in its history, as it will play on Tuesday (21:00, Sport1) in Serbia at the Marakana stadium of Red Star Belgrade for the return leg of the Champions League third qualifying round. After a surprising 1:0 win in the home game held in Hungary, the Hapoel Be'er Sheva players believe in their chances despite the fragile lead.

Great excitement was evident among the players during yesterday's training session ahead of the encounter with tens of thousands of Red Star Belgrade fans. The club reports that after the game in Hungary, the Serbian side displayed significant self-confidence, convinced that they would easily secure a comeback in Belgrade with the support of their home crowd. Hapoel Be'er Sheva is aware of this and believes that such underestimation could work in their favor.

At least one change is expected in the lineup, as the place of the suspended Matan Baltaxa will likely be filled by new defender Pedro Amador, who performed well as a substitute to help keep a clean sheet in the second half. Igor Zlatanovic, who was substituted at halftime in Hungary due to a blow to the head, feels much better and will play on Tuesday against his arch-rivals, having grown up in the Partizan Belgrade youth academy.

There is significant excitement among Hapoel Be'er Sheva fans, with many organizing their own travel. The club estimates that between 500 and 1,000 supporters will attend the match.

Today the team will hold a training session, followed by a morning session tomorrow, before departing on a direct flight to Belgrade in the early evening. 70 fans will accompany the team on the flight.
