AliExpress Opens Platform to Israeli Businesses for Local Deliveries
AliExpress is opening its platform to Israeli merchants, allowing local businesses to sell directly to consumers with 'Ship from Israel' local delivery for electronics and home goods.

Global e-commerce giant AliExpress is opening its platform to Israeli businesses, allowing local merchants to sell products directly to consumers with local shipping. Under the new initiative, local items will feature a 'Ship from Israel' label, ensuring dispatch from domestic warehouses rather than overseas facilities.
During the initial rollout, the platform will offer electronics, home appliances, baby products, car accessories, and household goods. Highlighted brands and items include Xiaomi products, Jagger bicycles, vacuum-mop cleaners, headphones, smartphones, and electric scooters, promising significantly shorter delivery times and lower shipping costs for bulky items.
The strategic move introduces fresh competition for both domestic retail chains and Chinese vendors on the platform. While delivery times will decrease, questions remain regarding pricing competitiveness compared to low-cost imports from China. This launch coincides with the rollout of the AliExpress Elite loyalty club in Israel ahead of the November shopping festival, including Singles' Day.
Previously, Amazon attempted a similar local-merchant model in Israel, which failed to gain significant momentum due to non-competitive pricing and the absence of a domestic fulfillment center. AliExpress is now aiming to succeed where its American rival struggled.
