AIG Israel Faces Full Strike Tomorrow After Labor Negotiations Collapse

AIG Israel is facing a full strike tomorrow across all company units and its headquarters following a breakdown in negotiations between management, the workers committee, and the Histadrut labor federation.

The strike comes after nearly a year of talks aimed at reaching a new collective bargaining agreement. Key disputes center on employee wages, employment terms, and job security.

A labor dispute was declared about a month ago due to persistent gaps. A central issue is the company's plan to implement voice-agent technology, which employees fear will impact staffing levels and the nature of their work.

Workers demand that the integration of such technologies be regulated within the new collective agreement. Tomer Malul, chairman of the AIG workers committee, stated that management bears the responsibility to resolve the crisis.
