Ever wondered what really happens behind the scenes when actors have to film intimate scenes? Viewers of the reality TV show MKV VIP got a rare, candid peek into this delicate topic during Sunday night's episode.

Actor Itay Turgeman opened up about how he handles romantic or physical scenes with co-stars while being in a committed relationship. Turgeman admitted that he actively tries to avoid such scenes whenever possible, viewing them as a necessary evil rather than a perk of the job.

Behind the Glamour

"In one of the series I worked on, there were several such scenes, and I asked my wife if it was acceptable to her. My tendency is to drop them from any script. But in a show where my character is a sex addict, you simply cannot avoid sexual behavior," Turgeman shared around the table.

Despite having shared screen intimacy with nearly the entire local industry, Turgeman insists that the reality on set is far from romantic. According to him, filming these moments feels clinical and entirely devoid of actual passion, so much so that he regularly invites his wife to watch.

When Reality Blurs

However, Turgeman conceded that emotions can sometimes flare up if the actors allow them to, a sentiment that prompted television host Eri Gilad to make a surprising personal confession of his own.

"It happened to me on a film set where I had to do all sorts of things. I fell completely in love, head over heels. It was a bit more than just a kiss," Gilad admitted.

While Gilad refused to explicitly name his co-star at the table, he noted that he has only ever acted in a single feature film throughout his career—the 1988 movie "Yehoshua Yehoshua". Past interviews reveal that his on-set romance was with actress Ousi Hallel, whom he once described as the true star of the film.
