58 minutes for Oscar Gloukh in Ajax's 3:1 win over Shelbourne in the Conference League qualifiers

After his brilliant hat-trick against Vojvodina, Oscar Gloukh returned to earth this evening (Thursday) on a personal level, but Ajax still defeated the Irish side Shelbourne 3:1 in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the Conference League. The Israel national team star, who also scored in the first match against the Serbs, naturally kept his place in the starting lineup, but was not involved in any of the three goals and was substituted in the 58th minute after a lackluster performance.
Mika Godts scored first from the penalty spot (6), Owen Wijndal doubled the lead (22), and in the 50th minute, Kasper Dolberg joined the celebration. In the 57th minute, Godts missed a chance to complete a brace after failing to convert a second penalty. The winner of the double-header will meet the winner of the match between Armenia's Noah and Switzerland's Sion in the playoff round.
Gloukh, who started the season well under Ajax's new coach Mitchell, did not fully meet expectations last year, much like Ajax as a whole. He recorded six goals and six assists in the Dutch league.
Rotem Keller started for Debrecen, played 90 minutes, and suffered a 3:0 defeat with his team against Copenhagen in the Conference League qualifiers.
The injured Stav Lemkin was not included in the squad for Twente, which crushed the Slovakian side Streda 6:0 in the Conference League qualifiers.
